Ayushman Bharat Scheme: Launched By Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Ayushman Bharat Scheme. It is being offered as the world's largest healthcare scheme. According to the government, about 50 crore Indians will benefit from Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The people of 445 districts of 29 states / UTs will get the benefit of the scheme. But Delhi, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, and Telangana are not implementing this scheme on their own. Let's know about this plan and who will get the benefit of it.

What Is Ayushman Bharat Scheme:

Aims of Ayushman Bharat Scheme is to get rid of the expensive medical bills of especially the lower and lower-middle-class families. Under this scheme, professional categories of poor, deprived rural families and urban workers have been kept. According to the latest socio-economic ethnic census (SEC), about 8.03 crore villages and 2.33 families of cities have been included. Under this ambitious plan of government, coverage of five lakh rupees per family will be given to each family and they will be able to get cashless treatment in government or private hospitals. According to estimates, more than 2.5 million beds will now be reserved for the poor in more than 10,000 hospitals of the country under this scheme.

It is very easy to know whether you are included in the plan or not. First, open the website of Ayushman Bharat, https://mera.pmjay.gov.in. Here you have to enter your mobile number. After that, an OTP will come to your given mobile no. Once this opiate is verified by putting the OTP on the website, A page will open. Where you can see whether you are involved in the plan or not.

If You Does Not Find Your Name Then...:

Do not need to worry If your name does not appear on the website of Ayushman Bharat. This website has a link to SICC (Social Economic Census Sense). By visiting this link, you will need to enter details such as your name, address, father's name, and state. After that, the details will be opened.

Contact With Ayushman Mitra:

If you do not have your name on the website then you can contact the nearest government or private hospital involved in the scheme. To help you here, the Government has deployed Ayushman Mitra / Health Friendly. They can get every small information related to the scheme.

The Benefit Of The Facility Can Be Taken In The Hospital:

It is very easy to take advantage of this Scheme If you are involved in the plan. You need to contact the Ayushman Mitra or Ayushman Mitra Help Desk, who is in the hospital. There you will need to show the documents of your identity like Aadhaar card, voter identity card or ration card. Note- Requirement of the Aadhaar card is not mandatory. You do not have to pay even a single penny for treatment.

These Diseases Can Be Treated:

More than 13 hundred diseases and its related packages have been included in the treatment in nearly ten thousand hospitals covered in Ayushman Yojana. In which, cancer surgery, heart bypass surgery, eye & tooth operation, CT scan, MRI etc. are included. The government has also released a helpline number for the convenience of the people. You can call to 14555 and get any information, advice or suggestions related to the plan.
